Biography

Charles-Henry Bertrand Van Ouytsel is a FRIA Research Fellow and PhD Student at Université catholique de Louvain. Charles-Henry got his BSc in Engineering and his MSc in Electrical Engineering from the UC Louvain, Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium. He is now pursuing a PhD degree under the supervision of Axel Legay at UC Louvain.
Charles-Henry’s research topic is about developing a toolchain using Symbolic Execution to detect and classify malware in order to stop their propagation. His research interests lie in Symbolic Analysis, Machine Learning, and Malware Analysis.
